iScreensaver Designer 3.4 Released

Multimedia software producer Xochi Media Inc announces the release of iScreensaver Designer version 3.4, the world's only cross-platform screensaver editor.


First released in 1998, iScreensaver Designer is a cross-platform screensaver editor for Macintosh and Windows. Designer can convert nearly any type of media (QuickTime-compatible images, movies, and Flash files) into a standard screensaver with user-friendly installers for either platform.


"We are pleased to annouce that version 3.4 runs great on the newly released Macintosh computers with Intel chips, and it continues to support the older systems like Mac OS 9, Windows XP, ME and 2000," announced iScreensaver project manager Brett Spivey.


Version 3.4 updates the popular application with Universal binary support for screensavers for the Mac Intel computers, and contains numerous improvements and bug fixes. All users are encouraged to upgrade.


What's New in Version 3.4:


- Screensavers for Mac OS X will install as a Universal Binary format.


- iScreensaver Designer runs on Intel Macs under Rosetta.


- Further improvements on double-byte character systems.


- Increased performance & higher quality visual effects.


About iScreensaver:


iScreensaver Designer 3 includes full support for Mac OS X and Windows XP, as well as a Slide Show editor with features not found in any other product. The editor software is available for Windows and Macintosh, and either version will build a screensaver for both platforms.

iScreensaver will convert nearly any media format (QuickTime-compatible movies and pictures including MPEG, MooV, AVI, Macromedia Flash, PICT, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, and dozens of other formats) into a self-contained screensaver with a one-click installer.
