1 January 1970

Effigent Inc., today announced that Trimjoist a manufacturer of engineered products has successfully migrated to its POWERASY ERP ENTERPRISE solution on Sybase Adaptive Server(R) Enterprise (ASE) and Mac OS X running on Apple Xserves. According to Barry Sanford, CEO of Trimjoist, "PowerEasy ERP solution on the Apple and Sybase infrastructure has provided us with a modern integrated ERP system to run our entire operations on a stable, secure and easy to use platform that will meet our company's growing needs. We are new to the Apple and Sybase(R) infrastructure but already are beginning to see the value in terms of ease of administration and maintenance. We intend to keep our IT operational costs low as we expand our operations and the PowerEasy solution leveraging Sybase and Apple technologies will play a key role in our growth."

According to Obul Kambham, CEO of Effigent, "With customers like Trimjoist, Effigent continues to see an increasing demand in the market where customers are looking for alternatives to the traditional Windows based systems to manage their business operations on stable, secure and scalable solutions. We continue to innovate in this area by leveraging enterprise-class technologies from Apple and Sybase to provide customers with a seamless experience to manage their growing businesses."

"The PowerEasy ERP solution when combined with secure information management power of Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise for Mac OS X and Apple hardware provides an integrated infrastructure that enables unprecedented levels of scalability, reliability and security for small and medium businesses (SMB) to manage their operations," said Dr. Herman Li, Vice-President of Development for Sybase's Information Technology Solutions Group. "The cost-value proposition of this integrated solution ideally fits the needs of the SMB marketplace."
