Development Community Reaches 100 Articles, Offers Web Hosts free tech support
1 January 1970DDK, A prominent IT community, currently offering discussion for both experienced and new users of Linux, networking, hardware and programming, recently announced its library of high quality and unique articles has grown to over 100 articles.
“The articles we offer are extremely useful for anyone even remotely connected to the IT industry,” said Steve Clarke, owner and founder of DDK (http://www.dislexik.com/).
The community consists of both experienced and new individuals to Linux, programming, and Information Technology. Most members of the community enjoy the site and become regular users.
“Our members really seem to enjoy the articles and interactive discussion,” said Clarke.
Registered members of the site who are afraid a particular post may be shown to their clients or customers have the option of posting anonymously.
“An experienced admin or web host is supposed to know what they are doing, but nobody ever ‘knows it all.’ If they go onto a forum and post a question, it can often make them look bad,” said Clarke. “We let members rest easy knowing their questions can be posted anonymously.”
DDK offers all users free, unlimited technical support, which sets it apart from similar communities.
“We’re not an average IT community, because our users have proven their dedication and passion for technology, and the quality of our support is similar to paid solutions,” said Clarke.
DDK welcomes users of all skill level, and never treats users poorly due to their lack of experience in the field.
“One of the primary goals of our community is to welcome all members, and never discriminate based on skill level. All of us were new to technology at some point, so there’s no reason to ignore questions from beginners,” said Clarke. “We simply don’t tolerate expressions like ‘newbie’ in our community.”
