Boundless Corporation Announces New Linux Web Terminal Product Lines

Boundless Corporation, a leader in Desktop Video Display Products, is proud to announce the new additions to the line of Linux Web Terminals. The ADDS 5600 Terminal is a replacement for the ADDS 5500 series Web Terminal. The ADDS 5700 is a high resolution (1600 x 1200 DVI) with Dual Video (VGA and DVI) capabilities.

Both the ADDS 5600 and 5700 terminals feature a 1.0Ghz Via C3 processor fan-less design, expandable memory, the Mozilla Firefox browser, and an optional Smart Card Reader.

The ADDS 5600 features:

-- Serial, parallel, and six (6) USB ports

-- Mozilla Firefox or Netscape browser

-- Cost effective Remote Management that uses a web terminal rather than

a server

-- 32 terminal emulations

-- 128 Mbyte DRAM expandable to 1 Gbyte

The Dual Video technology available in the ADDS 5700 allows users to pull up two different applications on two separate monitors. The ADDS 5700 can be configured with an optional close proximity (13.56 MHz) RFID read/write PCI card. Transactions, including credit cards, mass transit cards, employee identification and product tracking and traceability can now be managed from a single desktop device. This feature makes Boundless Technology perfect for financial markets, point of sale retail, transportation, medical and pharmaceutical applications.
