1 January 1970Active Endpoints, Inc. (http://www.active-endpoints.com), a leading independent provider of services-oriented integration solutions, today announced the launch of a new education services program called 'BPEL Essentials,' a comprehensive four-day introduction to the BPEL (business process execution language) standard. Taught by expert instructors from ActiveBPEL.org, Active Endpoints' open source subsidiary, 'BPEL Essentials' features an online, instructor-led format designed to fit tight budgets and busy schedules.
"BPEL is gathering momentum within end user, software vendor and systems integrator organizations, resulting in a commensurate demand for high-quality, cost effective BPEL education," said Frank Ryan, Vice President of Technical Services for Active Endpoints. "The goal of 'BPEL Essentials' is to provide integration professionals with a substantive and flexible learning experience that helps them develop the skills needed to implement BPEL-based applications."
'BPEL Essentials' is delivered over four consecutive days during a scheduled class week. Online lectures are delivered during the first class segment of each day, after which students are given several hours to complete lab assignments. Online lab reviews are conducted during the second class segment of the day. Classes are limited in size, ensuring a quality learning experience for each student. To support a rich, accelerated learning experience, all classes are taught using ActiveWebflow(TM) Professional, Active Endpoints' market leading visual BPEL authoring environment. Students receive a full license to ActiveWebflow Professional as part of their 'BPEL Essentials' course materials, a $995US value. Topics covered in the 'BPEL Essentials' course include:
